Washington: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the International Ministerial Meeting on Critical Minerals, hosted by the United States Department of State in Washington.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on global challenges related to securing critical minerals and rare earth elements. It emphasized the need to strengthen international cooperation to ensure resilient supply chains for critical minerals, aiming to maximize their contribution to global economic development and support the growth and sustainability of the mining and minerals sector.
The meeting saw participation from United States government officials, foreign affairs, and mining ministers from several countries worldwide.
