Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 3rd annual Saudi International Iron and Steel Conference in Riyadh with Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Lieutenant-General Kamel Al-Wazir.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion addressed the expansion of industrial partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, as well as strengthening industrial integration.

The meeting affirmed the strength of strategic bilateral relations between the countries and the depth of their economic ties across various sectors of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of promoting joint industrial investments to achieve the economic development objectives of both nations.

The meeting also reviewed opportunities to develop strategic partnerships across several industrial sectors that are priorities for both the Kingdom and Egypt.
