Industry Minister Engages with Global Giants at Future Investment Initiative Conference.

Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef today engaged in a series of strategic meetings with leaders of major global industrial companies and international financial institutions at the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference (FII8) in Riyadh. The discussions centered on fostering economic cooperation, particularly in the industrial and mining sectors, and exploring the range of incentives and facilities available for investors in Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meetings, which also included Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid Al-Mudaifer, explored promising opportunities in 12 key industrial sectors identified for development and localization under the National Industrial Strategy. These sectors encompass aerospace, automotive, food, vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and knowledge transfer, along with the latest smart manufacturing solutions tailored for the Saudi industrial landscape. Additionally, the di
alogue extended to advanced financial technologies and the expansion strategies of several global companies within the Kingdom.

The discussions prominently featured investment prospects within Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning mining sector, addressing all stages from exploration to extraction and processing. Key elements of the comprehensive mining strategy and the Mining Investment Law were reviewed, aiming to bolster the competitiveness and stability of the mining investment environment in the nation.

Alkhorayef’s discussions with influential global leaders included dialogues with the executive vice president of strategy at Airbus, the chairman of BMW, the CEO of Nestle Middle East and North Africa, the chairman of the Eurasian Development Bank, the chairman of Vale, a leading global mining company, the head of private equity at Brookfield, the CEO of 3D Systems, the CEO of Boeing International, representatives from Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, and the founder and chairman of SoftBank Group.
