Indonesia recorded today more than 1,200 deaths from the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), which is the largest death toll recorded in a single day.

In a statement, the Indonesian Health Ministry said that the death toll reached 71,397 after recording 1,205 deaths, adding that the total number of confirmed cases rose to more than 2,780,000 after recording 54,000 cases in the last 24 hours.
