IMCTC Secretary-General Engages with Nigerian Military Attach© on Counter-Terrorism Efforts

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Major General Mohammed Al-Moghedi met with the military attach© from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Saudi Arabia at the coalition’s headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between IMCTC and Nigeria in areas such as combating terrorism and extremism, capacity building, and the exchange of expertise in military, intellectual, and media fields to support member states’ security and stability.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Moghedi commended Nigeria for its significant role in the coalition’s collaborative efforts. He emphasized the coalition’s commitment to expanding partnerships and coordination with member states to achieve its strategic objectives of confronting terrorism in all its forms.

The Nigerian military attach© expressed gratitude for IMCTC’s initiatives and programs designed to enhance member states’ readiness and integration. He emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation and coordination to tackle current security challenges effectively.
