IMCTC Delegation Engages in Strategic Dialogues at UN Counter-Terrorism Week

Riyadh: Under the directives of Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Council of Defense Ministers for the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, an IMCTC delegation led by Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi is participating in UN Counter-Terrorism Week at the UN Headquarters in New York.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum, organized by the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), serves as a premier international platform bringing together member states, experts, and agency heads to review the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy and confront emerging global threats.

Al-Moghedi stated that the IMCTC's participation underscores its commitment as an active global partner, leveraging its four core domains of ideological, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military work to unify capabilities and exchange regional expertise.

On the sidelines of the event, Al-Moghedi held bilateral meetings with Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the UN Dr. Abdulaziz Alwasil, as well as UNOCT Acting Under-Secretary-General Alexandre Zuev and UN Counter-Terrorism Centre Director Mauro Miedico, focusing on expanding institutional cooperation.
