Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) concluded a specialized media program focused on analyzing extremist discourse and hate speech in digital media in the Maldivian capital, Mal©.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the five-day program involved over 30 trainees from media and academic institutions across the Republic of Maldives. This initiative aligns with IMCTC’s strategic goals to empower media professionals and enhance their abilities to confront extremism. The program also aimed to promote peace and tolerance throughout the region.
