IMCTC Advances Military Exercises in Gabon

Libreville: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) is implementing its strategic military initiative “Competence” in Libreville, Gabon.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program features intensive field training, tactical drills, and live-fire exercises for special operations forces as part of the second phase of the military training program. This phase of the program focuses on enhancing special forces units’ capabilities to counter terrorist threats through practical exercises simulating real combat scenarios.

Training activities include raids, maneuvering across diverse terrains, responding to ambushes and hostage situations, and live-fire drills against both moving and stationary targets.

This initiative is one of 15 strategic programs launched by the IMCTC to facilitate expertise transfer and knowledge exchange, and to establish a unified training system that contributes to regional and international security.
