Riyadh: Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Director-General Dr. Salim AlMalik, and Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) Executive Director Hammam bin Juraied held a virtual meeting yesterday to discuss a joint action plan to support the education sector in Sudan, Syria, and other Islamic world countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions were held within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two organizations.

The two sides agreed to establish a joint team of experts to identify priority programs and projects for implementation in the coming phase, as part of their efforts to advance sustainable development, particularly in countries facing instability, including Sudan and Syria.
