Makkah: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development inspection teams conducted more than 7,000 inspection visits during the 1447 AH Hajj season, recording more than 1,800 violations concentrated in high-occupancy locations across Makkah, the holy sites, and Madinah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the inspection rounds covered the accommodation, catering, pilgrim services, transport, communications, and gold and jewelry retail sectors. The ministry affirmed continued oversight efforts to address unauthorized practices and raise awareness of regulations as part of its role in regulating the seasonal labor market and ensuring the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
