Human Resources Ministry Launches Initiative to Enhance Pilgrims’ Hajj Experience

Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has launched an initiative to provide reception and organizational services at land, air, and sea ports and train stations, aimed at facilitating pilgrims' arrival and movement and enhancing their overall Hajj experience.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative offers on-site support, particularly for the elderly and people with disabilities, through trained personnel and accessible services that ensure comfort, safety, and the smooth performance of Hajj rituals, reflecting the values of solidarity and humanitarian service in Saudi society.

The initiative includes 10 programs across key locations, with more than 1,500 male and female volunteers serving in Makkah and Madinah to improve service quality and operational efficiency during the Hajj season.

Additionally, it features an awareness track to combat begging by raising awareness of its risks, clarifying its legal consequences, and directing pilgrims to official reporting channels and approved donation platforms, ensuring a safe and regulated environment in the Holy Sites.

The initiative aligns with the ministry's efforts to promote volunteerism and social responsibility, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, to enhance services and enrich the pilgrim experience.
