Human Capability Development Program Highlights Key Achievements in 2025 Report

Riyadh: The Human Capability Development Program, a Saudi Vision 2030 realization program, has released its 2025 annual report, underscoring key achievements in developing national capabilities and enhancing the competitiveness of Saudi citizens.

According to Saudi Press Agency, among the report's key highlights were the introduction of artificial intelligence as a mandatory subject in public education, the training of more than 13,000 teachers in AI applications, and the launch of a national professional development platform that has benefited over 470,000 educators.

The report also outlined continued progress in higher education, including Cabinet approval for the establishment of three new branches of local and international universities, among them the University of New Haven and the University of Strathclyde. It also noted that the number of Saudi students enrolled in the world's top 200 universities and institutes has surpassed 28,400.

The report further highlighted efforts to promote national identity and strengthen the Kingdom's cultural presence, noting that the 'Saudipedia' platform has showcased Saudi identity globally in six languages through more than 40,000 articles and over 18,000 visual materials.

The report also presented the outcomes of the second edition of the Human Capability Initiative Conference, which brought together 300 speakers from 40 countries and around 13,000 participants from 120 countries. The event also featured the announcement of more than 100 initiatives and projects in human capability development, with a total value of nearly SAR8.5 billion.

The program affirmed that the report reflects a more advanced stage in the Kingdom's human capability development journey and demonstrates the integration of national efforts to invest in Saudi citizens as the foundation of a vibrant society and a thriving economy, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
