HUMAIN and FII Institute Join Forces to Accelerate Global AI Leadership Ahead of FII9

Riyadh: The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has formed a strategic partnership with HUMAIN, a global artificial intelligence company supported by the Public Investment Fund (PIF). This collaboration is established in anticipation of the 9th edition of the FII Institute’s flagship conference, FII9, in Riyadh. At this event, HUMAIN plans to reveal a series of important product and partnership announcements. Scheduled from October 27 to 30, 2025, FII9 will bring together global leaders from government, business, and academia to discuss this year’s theme, ‘The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth.’

According to Saudi Press Agency, HUMAIN, launched in May 2025, is developing comprehensive AI capabilities across four main areas: next-generation data centers, hyper-performance infrastructure and cloud platforms, advanced AI models-including ALLAM, a powerful multimodal Arabic large language model-and transformative AI solutions. HUMAIN aims to establish Saudi Arabia as a global center for AI innovation and promote the transition to a knowledge-based economy.

Richard Attias, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Acting CEO of the FII Institute, stated that AI leadership will be a defining factor in global competitiveness. By partnering with HUMAIN, Saudi Arabia’s ambition and capability are combined with the FII Institute’s global reach. This partnership aims to shape the future of AI in ways that foster innovation, strengthen economies, and ensure technology serves humanity.

Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, emphasized the importance of human-centric AI. The partnership with the FII Institute provides a global platform to advance innovation that is both advanced and human-focused. This collaboration seeks to provide insights and create opportunities for AI to benefit both the Global North and the Global South. The upcoming announcements at FII are expected to introduce new possibilities for how AI can serve humanity.
