HRH the Crown Prince Chairs Cabinet Session in Riyadh

Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet session held in Riyadh today. HRH the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on his meetings’ outcomes with leaders and government heads from several countries who visited the Kingdom for the Future Investment Initiative conference.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Cabinet noted that the high-level international attendance at the conference demonstrated global appreciation for the Kingdom’s achievements and vision, solidifying its status as a leading international economic destination and a hub for leaders and innovators focused on future-shaping investment strategies.

The Cabinet commended the Saudi economy’s adaptability to global changes, highlighting its growth in non-oil sectors such as advanced manufacturing, technology, tourism, and entrepreneurship. This adaptability aligns with national priorities and resource optimization.

Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the session, mentioned the Cabinet’s praise for the private sector’s significant role in promoting non-oil growth since the launch of Vision 2030, emphasizing the success of economic reforms in fostering a thriving business environment.

The Cabinet recognized the Kingdom’s upcoming presidency of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions starting in 2031, viewing it as a testament to its leadership in transparency and governance. Additionally, it celebrated AlUla’s achievement of winning three World Travel Awards for 2025, signifying its rising prominence on the regional tourism map.

Several decisions were also made during the session, including approving a headquarters agreement with the Arab Urban Development Institute and a memorandum of understanding on financial cooperation with Kuwait. Other approvals included tourism cooperation with San Marino, economic and trade cooperation with Vietnam, an air transport services agreement with Panama, and agreements related to veterinary medical products with France and educational cooperation with Kuwait University.
