Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet session held today in Riyadh. HRH the Crown Prince provided a briefing on the outcomes of recent discussions with leaders from several nations, emphasizing bilateral relations and mutual interests.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Cabinet expressed enthusiasm for the forthcoming official visit of US President Donald J. Trump to the Kingdom. The visit is expected to enhance cooperation and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations across various sectors.
Minister of State, Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, stated that the Cabinet reviewed both regional and international developments. It condemned the Israeli authorities’ actions in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian territories and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for the Palestinian cause.
The Cabinet also welcomed the ceasefire between Pakistan and India and reiterated its commitment to working for peace. It highlighted the significance of the Kingdom hosting the Munich Security Conference Leaders’ Meeting in 2025, showcasing its dedication to multilateral peace efforts.
The Cabinet acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s election as the Arab Group’s representative to the ICAO Council, recognizing its leadership in the aviation sector. Several decisions were made, including approving various memorandums of understanding with nations such as Italy, Eswatini, and China, among others.
