The meeting focused on recent regional developments, international cooperation, and strategic agreements aimed at bolstering Saudi Arabia's role in global stability. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on his recent phone call with U.S. President Donald J. Trump. They discussed the need for dialogue to de-escalate regional tensions and work towards diplomatic solutions to maintain security and stability. The Crown Prince also reported on his discussions with other world leaders, including those from Bahrain, Syria, Trkiye, and Spain, highlighting efforts to expand bilateral cooperation. The Minister of Education and Acting Minister of Media Yousef Al-Benyan announced that the Cabinet praised the international support for the Saudi-led Multinational Maritime Defense Alliance. This initiative aims to protect critical maritime route s in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, showcasing Saudi Arabia's leadership in regional security. The Cabinet expressed optimism about the decommissioning of weapons in the Gaza Strip, viewing it as a step towards implementing the Comprehensive Peace Plan, which seeks to establish an independent Palestinian state. It commended the diplomatic efforts of Egypt, Qatar, Trkiye, the U.S., and the Board of Peace in facilitating this agreement. Saudi Arabia's commitment to humanitarian efforts was reaffirmed with plans to host the fifth Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum next April. This event aims to enhance global humanitarian cooperation and aid delivery. The Cabinet also reviewed national programs, including the Pilgrim Experience Program, and welcomed the International Monetary Fund's report on Saudi Arabia's economic resilience. The IMF report highlighted the Kingdom's achievements under Vision 2030, including economic diversification and structural reforms. Several key decisions were made during the sess ion, such as approving agreements with Ecuador, Kazakhstan, Spain, and Somalia in various fields, including civil aviation and maritime transport. The Cabinet also authorized discussions for a memorandum of understanding with South Korea on technical and vocational training and approved cooperation between the Saudi and Turkish space agencies. Additionally, the session approved the Ministry of Interior's accession to the International Hospital Federation and the Government Tenders and Procurement Law.
