Cairo: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, convened with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, engaging in both a bilateral meeting and an expanded session of talks.

According to Saudi Press Agency, President El-Sisi expressed a warm welcome to HRH the Crown Prince, referring to Egypt as his second home. In return, HRH the Crown Prince conveyed his gratitude for the hospitality and reception extended to him and his delegation.

The discussions focused on strengthening the strategic bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, emphasizing collaboration across multiple fields. The leaders also addressed key issues pertaining to the Arab and Islamic worlds, with a particular focus on developments in the Middle East. Topics included regional security, stability, maritime security, and freedom of navigation, along with strategies to enhance coordination efforts.

The meeting witnessed the presence of notable figures, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Cabinet Member for Shura Council Affairs Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, Secretary to HRH the Crown Prince Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed, along with several high-ranking officials from the Egyptian side.
