Hot and Windy Conditions Expected Across Several Regions in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Hot to very hot weather is forecasted for parts of the Eastern Region on Wednesday, while several regions, including Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, and Qassim, will experience gusty and dust-stirring winds.

According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderclouds accompanied by strong winds are expected to form over the highlands of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. These meteorological conditions could lead to challenging weather patterns in these areas.

Wind patterns over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds blowing at speeds between 25-45 km/h in the northern and central sections. The southern part will experience northwesterly to westerly winds at 10-30 km/h. Wave heights in the Red Sea are anticipated to range from half a meter to two meters, with sea conditions fluctuating between calm and choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the northern part will see northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 16-36 km/h, while the central and southern parts will experience northwesterly to westerly winds at 25-45 km/h. Waves in the Arabian Gulf will also range from half a meter to two meters, with the sea state expected to be calm to choppy.
