Holy Quran Printing Complex in Madinah Receives Visitors during Ramadan

Madinah-- The King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah receives visitors between 10am and 12pm, allowing guests to check on facilities of the complex, stages of printing the Holy Quran and the latest print, audio and digital publications that the complex produces in various languages.

The King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran project was inaugurated on Muharram 16, 1405 Hijri / 1984 in Madinah to be the main headquarters for printing the Holy Quran. This great facility reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to serve the Holy Quran, publish it and teach it, in addition to meeting Muslims’ needs of the Holy Quran, preserve it and protect it from mistakes and deviation through relying on trusted people who memorize the Holy Quran to review it, which allowed Muslims to read the Holy Quran and understand its meanings in their various languages in an easy way and delivering it to all corners of the world.

The production capacity of the complex in the present reaches 20 million copies of the Holy Quran annually, where the total production of the complex since its inception reached 345 million copies from various issues of the Holy Quran that are distributed to Muslims across the world, out of the belief of the wise leadership in the message and its awareness of the responsibility towards the Holy Quran, in addition to serving and spreading the religion.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s care is not limited to printing and distributing the Holy Quran, it also included translating its meanings to 76 international languages, in addition to caring for its interpretation and its various sciences and the Holy Sunnah, where the complex provided several technological services and e-applications allocated for smartphones, including the Holy Quran with various recitations, in addition to having several audio publications that have been issued over the past few years and developing several softwares and open-text services and computer fonts that are exclusive to the complex, as well as the audio applications and technologies dedicated for people with hearing and visual disabilities to enable them to recite and memorize the Holy Quran.
