High-Altitude Cafes Drive Mountain Tourism in Jazan’s Al-Raith Governorate

Jazan: Sitting at altitudes exceeding 2,000 meters above sea level, high-altitude cafes on Black Mountain in Jazan Region's Al-Raith Governorate are transforming the area into a premier destination for mountain and rural tourism.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the venues offer panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, often enveloped in cloud cover and mist. The unique climate and terrain have made the area a major attraction for visitors seeking outdoor recreation, photography, and traditional Saudi coffee in a natural setting.

Capitalizing on this growing sector, the Jazan Region Municipality, represented by the Al-Raith Governorate Municipality, is rolling out new commercial investment opportunities across Black Mountain. The development initiatives encompass new tourist resorts, restaurants, and cafes designed to expand visitor services, maximize natural resources, and solidify the region's position as a key recreational hub.
