Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that heavy thundershowers, accompanied by hail and strong winds, are expected to continue affecting parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Northern Borders, and Al-Jouf regions. These weather conditions are likely to cause dust and sandstorms in the affected areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, there is also a possibility of light to moderate rain in parts of Najran and Tabuk. Additionally, fog formation is anticipated during the night and early morning over parts of Hail, Al-Jouf, the coastal areas of Tabuk and the Eastern region, as well as the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.
In the Red Sea, winds are expected to blow northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 12-35 km/h in the northern part and southeasterly to southwesterly at 20-60 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights may range from one to two and a half meters, leading to choppy sea conditions. Over the Arabian Gulf, northerly to
northeasterly winds are predicted to reach speeds of 15-50 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in relatively calm to choppy sea conditions.
