Heavy Rain and Flash Floods Expected in Multiple Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Moderate to heavy rain, which could lead to flash floods and is accompanied by hail, is forecast in parts of the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Light to moderate rain showers are anticipated in parts of the Najran Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty, dust-stirring winds will affect these regions, as well as parts of the Eastern and Madinah regions. These conditions are expected to impact visibility and outdoor activities.

Wind patterns over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging from 10 to 38 km/h. Waves in the area may range from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20 to 45 km/h. Wave heights in this area may range from one meter to two meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm.
