Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy rain accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds in the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah. This weather pattern is expected to affect these areas significantly, bringing with it challenging conditions for residents.
According to Saudi Press Agency, light to moderate rain is also anticipated in several other regions, including Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Eastern, Northern Borders, and Al-Jouf. These areas should prepare for potential disruptions due to the weather changes.
In terms of wind conditions, the Red Sea is expected to experience northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 20-42 km/h in its northern and central parts, while the southern part will see southwesterly to northwesterly winds reaching 15-35 km/h. The sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with waves ranging from half a meter to two meters.
Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-38 km/h in the central and northern parts, and southwesterly to northwesterly, reaching 12-32 km/h in the southern part. The sea is expected to remain relatively calm with waves from half a meter to one and a half meters.
