Health Volunteering Surges During Hajj 1447 AH with Over 39,000 Hours of Service

Riyadh: Health volunteering during the 1447 AH Hajj season has seen active participation, with more than 4,000 volunteers contributing over 39,000 volunteer hours through 277 volunteer opportunities across 15 cities throughout the Kingdom since the start of the season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these efforts come within the Health Sector Transformation Program initiatives and Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at enhancing community participation and empowering volunteer work to raise the quality of health services and improve pilgrims' health experience.

The health volunteering initiatives covered multiple fields, including health awareness, education, and field and organizational support, reflecting the integration of national efforts during the Hajj season.
