Health Ministry Awarded Mowaamah Gold Certificate for Workplace Inclusion

Riyadh: The Ministry of Health has been awarded the Mowaamah Gold Certificate, in recognition of its commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible work environment for people with disabilities. The gold category, the program’s highest classification, is granted to establishments that achieve an evaluation rate exceeding 70%. The ministry’s achievement reflects its adoption of a range of regulatory and executive measures to meet the program’s standards, including commitment, knowledge, employment, human resources, products and services, communication, facilities, and information technology.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this accomplishment supports the objectives of Vision 2030, which aim to enhance the quality of life, empower all members of society, and strengthen their participation in the workplace. Mowaamah is an optional program implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to certify establishments, ensuring that their work environments are accessible for people with disabilities. The program aims to empower organizations to adopt more inclusive practices that support individuals with disabilities.
