Makkah: Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Fahad AlJalajel visited the SFDA's Hajj Operations Center in Makkah to review the efficiency of services and the efforts undertaken to ensure the safety of products provided to pilgrims during the Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister was accompanied by Chief Executive Officer of the SFDA Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey. During the visit, they reviewed the advanced technologies employed by SFDA inspectors during field monitoring of food factories and warehouses in Makkah.

Among the most notable tools used by the inspectors are body cameras, smart tablets, and systems that track inspection operations in real time.
