Mecca: Among the millions of pilgrims gathered in the holy sites, the families of Sudanese martyrs and wounded servicemen from the Decisive Storm and Renewal of Hope operations carry memories of their loved ones, who are absent in life but present in their prayers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these families arrived in the Kingdom with years of patience and heavy memories, finding a unique sense of peace during Hajj. Within the holy sites, they found a place to remember their loved ones through prayer and mercy. They participated under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, managed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
In Mina, Sudanese pilgrim Ahmed Ibrahim quietly reflected while keeping a photo of his martyred son on his phone, saying he carried his son's name in every act of worship. Similarly, Ensaf Habib, sister of a martyr, described the journey as a blessed honor. Their stories illustrate loss, faith, gratitude, and enduring remembrance through prayer.
