Hajj and Umrah Ministry Announces Commencement of Pilgrims’ Arrival for Hajj

Riyadh: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the commencement of pilgrims' arrival to the Kingdom through various air, land, and sea ports for this year's Hajj. The process is part of an integrated system of services and facilities under the supervision of Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. This coordination involves relevant authorities to ensure smooth entry procedures and transfer to residences.

According to Saudi Press Agency, airports began receiving flights from several countries, including Pakistan, Trkiye, Afghanistan, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, and Thailand. Approximately 30 flights were processed through organized procedures to accommodate the influx of pilgrims.

Readiness at ports has been enhanced by increasing staff and activating dedicated pilgrim routes. Reception facilities have been prepared to improve efficiency and speed, ensuring that the arrival process is seamless.

The ministry also emphasized coordination among agencies to facilitate entry procedures, provide guidance and multilingual support, and ensure the smooth transfer of pilgrims to their residences in Makkah and Madinah.
