Hail: Governor of Hail and Chairman of the Hail Region Development Authority Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz today flagged off the 21st edition of Hail Toyota International Baja Rally. This marks the beginning of an event that is part of several prestigious championships including the FIA World Baja Cup, the FIA Middle East Baja Cup, the FIM World Baja Cup, and the FIM Asia Baja Cup. Additionally, it serves as the opening round of the Saudi Toyota Baja Championship.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Abdulaziz highlighted that the Hail rally, supported by Saudi leadership and the people of Hail, has become a significant global platform for motorsports over the past two decades. This rally not only promotes tourism but also contributes to economic growth. He noted that its inclusion in global championship calendars enhances Hail's reputation as an attractive destination for rally champions and their guests.
After the official launch, the rally began with a qualifying stage. This 6-kilometer timed stage is crucial as it determines the starting positions for the top ten competitors in the first full stage, marking the official start of the Hail Toyota International Rally 2026.
