Gusty Winds and Thunderstorms to Impact Parts of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Gusty and dust-stirring winds are forecasted to affect parts of the Eastern, Riyadh, and Tabuk regions, while suspended dust continues to impact the western and southwestern parts of the Kingdom. Thunderstorms, accompanied by hail and gusty winds, are expected over parts of Jazan and Aseer regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to westerly winds in the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly winds in the southern part, reaching speeds of 15-50 km/h. The sea conditions will range from calm to choppy, with waves reaching over two meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to westerly winds are expected in the northern and central parts at speeds of 10-38 km/h. The southern part will experience a shift in wind direction from northeasterly to southeasterly, changing in the evening to southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h. The sea will remain relatively calm, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters.
