Gusty Winds and Thunderstorms Expected Across Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Gusty winds and blowing dust are set to persist across parts of the Northern Borders, Eastern, Riyadh, and Najran regions, alongside sections of the Makkah and Madinah regions. Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds remain a possibility in the Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging from 20-40 km/h in the northern part and 15-35 km/h in the central and southern parts. The winds could reach up to 50 km/h toward the Gulf of Aqaba, with wave heights varying from one meter to one and a half meters, and reaching two meters in the northern part, rendering the sea moderate.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly in the southern part, at speeds of 12-35 km/h. The wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea conditions remaining calm to moderate.
