Gusty Winds and Thunderclouds Expected in Various Regions Across Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Gusty and dust-stirring winds are anticipated to affect several regions across Saudi Arabia this Sunday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology forecasts these conditions in parts of Najran, Riyadh, Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, and Qassim regions.

Thunderclouds are also expected to form over parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. The weather forecast suggests that these conditions may lead to reduced visibility and possible disruptions in these areas.

Winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, reaching speeds of 20-43 km/h. In the southern part, winds will shift to northwesterly to westerly, blowing at 15-30 km/h. The sea is expected to remain relatively calm, with waves ranging from half a meter to two meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, wind patterns will include northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern part at speeds of 14-32 km/h, while in the central and southern parts, winds will increase to 20-40 km/h. The sea conditions will mirror those of the Red Sea, with waves anticipated to be between half a meter and two meters, maintaining a relatively calm sea state.
