Gusty Winds and Rain Showers Expected in Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Gusty and dust-stirring winds are forecasted to affect parts of Riyadh, Eastern, Najran, Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk regions, extending to the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands. Rain showers are anticipated in these areas, while fog is expected to form in Jazan and Aseer regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary in direction. In the northern and central parts, winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 38 km/h. In the southern part, winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly with speeds of 10 to 45 km/h. Waves are predicted to range from half a meter to two meters, indicating calm sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 20 to 45 km/h. Waves are expected to range from one to two meters, suggesting relatively calm sea conditions.
