Gusty Winds and Rain Expected in Aseer, Jazan, Najran, and Eastern Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast predicting gusty winds and the possibility of rain and hail in parts of Aseer, Jazan, Najran, and Eastern regions. Fog is also anticipated in certain areas, potentially affecting visibility.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the wind conditions over the Red Sea are expected to vary. The northern part will experience southeasterly to easterly winds at speeds ranging from 10-30 km/h, while the central and southern parts will have northwesterly to northerly winds at 15-35 km/h. Wave heights in the Red Sea will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates that winds will be westerly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-28 km/h in the northern part and 20-48 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights in the Arabian Gulf are expected to reach from half a meter to two and a half meters, with the sea conditions varying from calm to choppy.
