Riyadh: The Gulf Health Council has launched an awareness campaign to educate the public about different types of headaches, their causes, prevention methods, and warning signs that require medical attention.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the campaign aims to help individuals recognize the most common types of headaches, including migraines, tension headaches, and those caused by overuse of painkillers. The initiative is designed to inform the public about the various factors that contribute to headaches and how to manage them effectively.
The campaign features an awareness guide, publications, and multimedia educational content. These resources highlight the most common causes of headaches, such as stress, lack of sleep, excessive caffeine intake, dehydration, prolonged screen time, and hormonal imbalances. The Gulf Health Council’s efforts are focused on providing comprehensive information to encourage healthy lifestyle choices that can reduce the incidence of headaches.
