Grand Mosque Imam Urges Adherence to Regulations, Warns Against Hajj Without Permits

Mecca: Delivering the Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque today, Imam Sheikh Maher Al-Muaiqly emphasized the profound spiritual virtues of the first 10 days of Dhu Al-Hijjah, a sacred period where major Islamic rituals like the Day of Arafah and the Day of Sacrifice converge.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Muaiqly highlighted that righteous deeds during this time are most beloved to Allah. He praised Saudi Arabia's extensive operational efforts to care for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. He urged pilgrims to uphold the sanctity of the rituals and adhere to official regulations, warning against performing Hajj without a permit due to the direct harm it causes others and the disruption it brings to the organized safety of the pilgrimage.
