Riyadh: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque launched an awareness exhibition yesterday in the Grand Mosque’s third Saudi expansion area: The exhibition aims to enrich the pilgrims’ experience and disseminate the Holy Quran’s moderate guidance and cultural insights globally.
According to Saudi Press Agency, President of Religious Affairs Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais emphasized that the exhibition highlights the Quran’s enriching message, aligning with the wise leadership’s commitment to serving the Holy Quran and spreading its sciences. This effort underscores a global glorification of the Quran, fostering values of tolerance, moderation, balance, and the guidance of true Islam.
The exhibition offers a unique opportunity for millions of pilgrims to view rare and ancient copies of the Quran, some dating back over 1,000 years from various Islamic eras. These include old handwritten copies of the Quran, wooden panels with Quranic verses, and other significant Quranic manuscripts.
