Graduation Ceremony of Second YGP Cohort Held under Industry Minister’s Patronage

Riyadh: The graduation ceremony of the second cohort of the Youth Growth Program (YGP) was held today under the patronage of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh. The program aims to develop the capabilities of young Saudi talent in the industrial and mining sectors and equip them with skills aligned with the latest international practices.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in his address, Alkhorayef emphasized the program's role in preparing young professionals to lead the future of the Kingdom's industrial and mining sectors while maximizing these sectors' contributions to the diversification of the national economy amid the Kingdom's ongoing economic transformation.

Alkhorayef stated, "With the support and empowerment of our wise leadership, we seek through this program to achieve one of the key objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by developing human capabilities and enabling Saudi citizens to compete globally. This is achieved by equipping them with advanced skills and diverse knowledge that allow them to work with cutting-edge technologies and keep pace with the latest international trends and practices."

He further explained that the program combines academic learning, practical engagement, and exposure to international expertise through partnerships with leading local and global institutions. Its curriculum integrates academic modules with hands-on training to equip participants with modern skills, enhance their capabilities, and prepare them to respond effectively to the rapidly evolving industrial and mining landscape.
