Governor of Qassim Region Inspects Pilgrims City in Buraidah

Buraidah: Governor of Qassim Region Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz inspected Sunday the Pilgrims City in Buraidah to review preparations and services provided to pilgrims arriving via land entry points. Since its operations began, the facility has served more than 6,100 pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the Governor reviewed the facilities and services provided to pilgrims. He was briefed by officials from participating government entities on operational programs. He approved plans to receive pilgrims and ensure comprehensive comfort and services, to serve them and facilitate their spiritual journey.

The Governor of Qassim Region stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in serving pilgrims reflect the wise leadership's approach and its continuous care for them, providing the highest levels of service and care.

He also noted the growing participation of government entities in the Pilgrims City year after year, saying this reflects strong integration and a sincere commitment to serving pilgrims. He pointed out that the number of participating government entities has reached around 30 this year, compared to fewer than 20 in previous years, highlighting the collective commitment to serving pilgrims.
