Riyadh: Governor of Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the Qatif Investment Forum 2025 today, in the presence of Deputy Governor of Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz. The event was organized by the Eastern Region Chamber of Commerce, represented by the Qatif Business Council.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in his remarks, the governor emphasized the great attention given by the Kingdom’s leadership to Qatif Governorate, highlighting its industrial, service, and agricultural assets, as well as its diverse investment opportunities that strengthen the business environment in both the Kingdom and the region. He stressed the importance of continuing to develop projects in the governorate and investing in its natural resources to enhance its contribution to the national economy and achieve the goals of sustainable development.
Prince Saud noted that the forum comes amid the Kingdom’s rapid economic transformation under Vision 2030, which focuses on diversifying income sources and empowering the private sector’s role in driving growth. He added that Qatif possesses the necessary ingredients to become a promising investment hub across multiple sectors, particularly in industry, services, tourism, and agriculture.
The forum witnessed a significant turnout of government officials, business leaders, experts, and investors from various economic fields, reflecting growing interest in the governorate’s investment potential and its role in advancing the regional economy.
