Dr. Ahmed Mohammad Al Ansari, CEO OF Government hospitals met with Dr. Hanan bint Hassan Balkhy, Saudi Arabia's candidate for the post of World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Region during her visit to Bahrain.

This visit came within the framework of cooperation and exchange of expertise.

The CEO affirmed that the health sector is undergoing a shift aimed at further developing the health system, to provide quality and sustainable health care in line with international standards and the comprehensive development initiatives witnessed by the health sector in Bahrain.
