Riyadh: The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) commenced its exhibition today, held alongside the Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific that it is hosting December 3-5. The exhibition highlights GOSI’s strategic transformations and cutting-edge insurance products and solutions, underscoring its endeavor to launch new prospects that redefine the future of social insurance and ensure its services are more accessible and inclusive.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition attracted significant interest from visitors, who engaged in interactive presentations and demonstrations led by GOSI representatives. Attendees commended the advanced technologies and innovative services on display, noting their contribution to delivering seamless user experiences.
Through its various pavilions, GOSI’s exhibition guided participants and visitors on an immersive journey through its key milestones and achievements. Interactive screens that showed detailed statistics and dynamic infographi
cs provided insights into GOSI’s initiatives to serve its clients. These displays showcased how GOSI has expanded its role to offer services and products that enhance quality of life, positioning itself as a lifelong partner for individuals.
Visitors were also introduced to GOSI’s recently launched services, including digital human “Ameen,” the Capital Virtual Visit service, the comprehensive GOSI smartphone app, and the “Kashef” tool, which is designed to detect insurance fraud.
Moreover, attendees explored the open data platform, which offers an intuitive and interactive visualization of social insurance data and related statistics, making it easier for users to understand Saudi Arabia’s social insurance landscape.
The exhibition featured interactive screens illustrating the different phases of life, including being a student, employee, parent, and retiree, while emphasizing GOSI’s role at each stage. Visitors could select various scenarios from the screens to learn about the specific services available
during each phase of life. They also engaged in an interactive quiz game, which allowed them to explore different life paths and options, revealing the potential benefits and outcomes of utilizing GOSI’s services.
The exhibition concluded with visuals and infographics that shared real success stories of individuals who have improved their lives through the services provided by the social security sector.
On the forum’s second day, a series of panel discussions were held under the theme “Transformation and Innovation: the Power of Social Security Institutions.” A panel discussion titled “Strengthening Social Security through Institutional Transformation and Innovation” examined the role of institutions in expanding coverage, ensuring financial sustainability, fostering resilience, and delivering high-quality services in an ever-changing world.
A session titled “Practical Approaches to Excellence in Social Security Administration” featured discussions on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of social s
ecurity laws. Topics included improving productivity in employment and unemployment insurance protection, expanding social security coverage, and investing social security funds to bolster sustainability.
The day concluded with a public session titled “Transformation and Innovation — Key Success Factors,” where speakers emphasized the critical elements driving the success of social security institutions amid global changes and increasing challenges.
The forum’s third and final day will focus on “Ensuring Social Security Coverage for All Workers.” Panel discussions will be held to cover topics such as “Adapting Social Security Systems to Meet the Needs of Ageing Societies,” and “Resilience and Transitions: Optimizing the Positive Impact of Social Security.” A high-level panel discussion will feature International Social Security Association (ISSA) President Dr. Mohammed Azman alongside other leading figures in insurance protection.
