Kuwait city: General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) Governor Abdulaziz bin Hassan Alboug led the GOSI delegation in attending the 24th meeting of the Committee of Heads of Civil Pension and Social Insurance Agencies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting was hosted by the Public Institution for Social Security in Kuwait.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on the latest developments in the committee’s work, including a review of statistical reports on the current state of pension systems across GCC countries. The gathered officials assessed the progress of the technical committees and discussed the implementation of previous recommendations.

GOSI introduced an initiative aimed at developing a unified roadmap to identify common challenges faced by pension agencies across GCC countries. This initiative proposes programs and measures to address these challenges, emphasizing the enhancement of expertise exchange, development of regulatory and legislative frameworks, and improvement of service efficiency.
