Riyadh: The Advisory Board of the Global Infrastructure Forum convened for its inaugural meeting at the headquarters of the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center. This meeting was chaired by Executive Vice President for Planning, Eng. Bader Al-Tamimi, and included participation from representatives of various government, service, and private-sector entities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting's primary aim was to bolster preparations for the forum's forthcoming edition and to enhance strategic partnerships that will contribute to the development of the infrastructure sector. During the meeting, discussions centered around the advisory board's objectives and its role in supporting the forum's endeavors. This includes shaping strategic directions, developing scientific and knowledge content, and strengthening integration and coordination among relevant entities. The advisory board comprises eminent representatives from government and private sectors, including the Sports Boulevard Foundation, King Salman International Airport Development Company, King Salman Park Foundation, Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, Oil Sustainability Program, Qiddiya Investment Company, and ROSHN Group, among other relevant entities. This diverse representation reflects the integration of national efforts to prepare for the forum, enhances the quality of its outcomes, and supports its overarching objectives.
