Riyadh: The second edition of the Global Harmony initiative, organized by the Ministry of Media, is showcasing the Kingdom’s rich cultural dimension and renowned hospitality through a series of events promoting interaction and cultural exchange among diverse nationalities. The initiative is a key component of the Quality of Life Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, starting with Indian Week, the initiative is featuring Indian artists and influencers alongside daily activities including cultural pavilions, games, and traditional performances. The events are creating a vivid human mosaic, offering a living picture of a society that truly embraces everyone.
Visitors have been sharing personal stories about how life in Saudi Arabia has shaped their journeys. Indian residents Alisha and Misha, who have worked in the medical field in the Kingdom for 15 years, shared their friendship story with the Saudi Press Agency. Both described the Kingdom as their second home, praising the kindness, openness, and multilingual ability of Saudis, which they said reflects a spirit of hospitality and tolerance. Misha expressed deep gratitude, stating that all her professional achievements were made possible during her time in Saudi Arabia.
The initiative also gained global attention through Indian influencer Angel Rai, who shared the activities with her 25 million followers in India. Rai noted that the festive atmosphere made her feel at home and that Saudis are “close to my heart and feel like family.” She highlighted the incredible kindness of the people and the celebratory atmosphere, which she found very similar to Indian culture.
Through the Global Harmony initiative, the Ministry of Media continues to successfully promote values of coexistence and openness, furthering the Kingdom’s efforts to foster dialogue and understanding among cultures.
