Doha: The General Directorate of Narcotics Control is actively participating in the Ministry of Interior's pavilion at the joint tactical exercise, Arabian Gulf Security 4, organized by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) security agencies. The event is being held in the State of Qatar from January 30 to February 4.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate's participation aims to highlight its ongoing efforts to combat drug smuggling and trafficking. It is showcasing significant domestic and international seizures and emphasizing its role in enhancing community resilience against drugs.
The Ministry of Interior's pavilion provides a comprehensive overview of the Kingdom's initiatives to address drug smuggling on various fronts. It also demonstrates the use of artificial intelligence technologies for improving security, safety, and crowd management, alongside introducing the Ministry's electronic services offered via the Absher platform.
