General Authority for Statistics Observes Gulf Statistics Day

Riyadh: The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) joins the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in celebrating Gulf Statistics Day, observed annually on December 24, reaffirming the importance of statistics in supporting sustainable development and evidence-based decision-making.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the occasion highlights the continued efforts of GCC countries to develop advanced, integrated statistical systems that provide accurate, reliable data, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of public policies and the achievement of national development goals.
