Riyadh: The General Authority for Awqaf continues its efforts to support the Hajj ecosystem for the year 1447 AH by directing Awqaf funds toward quality initiatives and projects that help facilitate pilgrims' journeys and enhance the quality of services provided to them, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority is implementing several initiatives aimed at maximizing the impact of Awqaf in serving pilgrims through diverse projects, including guidance and translation services, water provision, transportation, and crowd management. These efforts contribute to improving pilgrims' experience and enhancing the efficiency of services provided throughout the various stages of their spiritual journey.

The authority supports several projects designed to enrich the experience of pilgrims and visitors, most notably initiatives to translate sermons delivered at the Two Holy Mosques into several languages, water distribution projects, and efforts to organize visitor routes and manage the flow of worshippers to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah at the Prophet's Mosque. These undertakings are implemented within an integrated system in cooperation with the relevant authorities serving the Two Holy Mosques.

The authority affirmed that endowments represent a significant developmental resource for supporting initiatives and projects with sustainable impact by investing donors' stipulations and directing them toward areas that contribute to improving services provided to pilgrims, while promoting the values of solidarity and sustainable development.
