Las vegas: Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation Turki Alalshikh attended the first face-off between Mexican star Saul ‘Canelo’ lvarez and American boxer Terence Crawford in Las Vegas last night, ahead of the historic fight week beginning Saturday. The bout, set to take place at Allegiant Stadium, is part of the Riyadh Season 2025 events and will crown the undisputed super middleweight world champion.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event, also attended by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White, drew massive crowds and widespread media coverage, as fans gathered to witness the intense moment when the two fighters came face to face for the first time in what was described as the ‘fight of the century.’

Alalshikh’s presence underscored the Kingdom’s growing commitment to boxing and highlighted Riyadh Season’s continued success in hosting some of the world’s largest sporting events.
