Riyadh: Chairman of the board of directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation Advisor Turki Alalshikh has announced a highly anticipated boxing match between Mexican boxer Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and American boxer Terence Crawford. The fight is scheduled for September 13 in Las Vegas as part of the Riyadh Season events.
According to Saudi Press Agency, prior to the fight, both boxers will embark on an international media tour, beginning in Riyadh on June 20, moving to New York on June 22, and concluding in Las Vegas on June 27.
This bout for the Super Middleweight Championship is a collaboration among GEA, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and Sela. The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix worldwide, with no additional fees, marking a significant milestone in major fight broadcasts.
